Active Highs Open For Easter!

Well after a lot of rest, recouperation, blogging, developing new websites, sorting out kit, getting new logos designed, moving desks and generally getting up and running again we are very very pleased to be opening for activities over the Easter Holidays!

We will have a full compliment of activities on offer and are already taking bookings for white water rafting on Good Friday, Canyoning on Easter Saturday, Funyakking on Easter Sunday and then who knows what will happen over the school holidays!

2013 White Water Rafting!

2013 Scottish White Water Rafting Season Starts 29th March!

The 2013 white water rafting on the River Garry kicks off on Friday the 29th March with guaranteed water released from the Dam which is unique in Scotland when all other rivers can be very low or dry! The dam releases weekly until end of October!

The River Garry is tucked away in the Western Highlands of Scotland and offers adventure lovers and first time rafters a fantastic adrenaline and fun filled experience. From the 29th of March until the end of October this unique river offers a source of guaranteed rapids due to the release of water from the dam at the top of the river.

Without guaranteed water releases frm dams such as the one on the River Garry, white water rafting in Scotland can be fantastic or disapointing depening on the river levels and the ammount of rain.
Active Highs offer white water rafting trips on the River Garry on a weekly basis and is very popular with families, stag parties and corpoarte customers. Anyone can raft the River Garry as long as they are over 8 years old. Customers are provided with all equipment including a neoprene wetsuit, bouancy aid and helmet & given full instruction by their own professional river guide prior to setting off down the river.

River Garry Release Dates Confirmed for 2013 Season

We have just had the dam release dates for the River Garry confirmed for the 2013 white water rafting season with the first white water rafting trip on the River Garry kicking off on Friday the 29th of March!

The River Garry is a fantastic trip for first timers or experienced rafters. It has some great big & bouncy grade 3 & 4 rapids and the water levels are guaranteed due to the water being releassed from the dam at the top of the river once or sometimes twice a week from March until the end of October.
